Day 1

After a rather noisy and excitable night sleep (or lack of!), the children arose to a very frosty morning at Glasbury house. They started the day with a very hearty breakfast and completed some jobs around the house.

Once the children were told their activity for the day, they were advised on what to wear.... lots of layers!!

The activities for the day were: Group A - Adventure, Group B - Canoeing and Group C -Caving.

All children had a fantastic time and came back feeling a little tired.

After dinner they took part in an Orienteering Activity and wrote letters home.

Orienteering around the grounds of Glasbury House.

Hello from Glasbury!!

We have arrived safely at Glasbury house after a lovely journey, which only took us 5 hours.
Everyone was very excited upon arriving and was eager to explore the house.

Once we had a look around the house and unpacked our cases, we sat down to a three course meal that consisted of; mushroom soup for starter, chicken burger, beans and wedges for our mains and fruit salad for desert.

We are all looking forward to a busy day of Adventure, Water and Caving tomorrow.
